Some follow up information, Errington was wounded on 8 June 1940:

    p. 21 The Royal Hussars in The Second World War 1939-1945

I am unable to locate a second report for an injury in the records available on FindMyPast.

The British Army List, for October 1944, shows that Errington was the GSO2 at the Armoured Fighting School, Bovington. (Fold3) 1944 October - Part 2.jpg
