Try WorldCat David – if you enter your location it will list the copies nearest you. And don’t forget the inter-library loan system.

    Good morning Robert
Please do not think me a pest! But just wondering if you had a fruitful search at Kew at the weekend?
    Regards

Hi David I did - I've managed to combine the files into .pdfs - it was a very busy day at the wonderful National Archives! I had a lot of stuff to go through and not much time so a lot of it was taking photos to digest later, but I've now managed to at least get it mostly organised into single .pdfs.

It's here in the National Archives folder: Ted Smith, 1939-1945 - Google Drive

I did look at the ORBAT for Op Lustre but it wasn't too user friendly - a very thick file full of units on/units off the ORBAT...there may be something of interest for you there but I didn't have the tie to parse the data - sorry!

Corinth Prison Camp excerpt is in there too.

Hope it's interesting for you! Let me know if you have any trouble accessing it.

Update: having visited our local library in Gosport, Hampshire, they have traced a copy (perhaps not surprisingly in Aldershot) and it’ll be here on Friday.

    Hello Robert
I wanted to drop you a quick line to thank you for sending your findings at the PRO recently.
I have had a chance to have a brief read through of each item which certainly helps in trying to flesh-out the experience of what might have been for our man at this time. A picture certainly is emerging.
I am collecting from our local library tomorrow two books recommended via this forum. Again, I hope to be able to add to the story.
Thank you again for your kind assistance
    Regards
    Dave
