    Hi Everyone

I would like to learn more about the routes and units of the German advance thru the Ardennes ? Is there a book or site dedicated to this part of the offensive that is really detailed and good?

I would also like to one day go there and trace some of these routes

I have always wondered if you can still find traces of this offensive in the towns, villages and woods?

    Thanks so much

I found After the Battle's Blitzkreig In The West covers it quite well.
I visited some of the 1940 sites back in 2008.

Resident Battle of the Bulge expert Stolpi should be able to answer most of your queries.
He gave me a tour of the area back in 2013

This is good. Mostly very descriptive text but also quite a number of photos and excellent quality maps.

Oops. Didn't notice that but instead was distracted by the previous post which referred to the Battle of the Bulge :) I guess it also means the OP now has two reasons to visit the area :)

Who first came up with that childish 'Battle of the Bulge' terminology ? It would be far more worthy of serious study if it were known as the 'Battle of the Ardennes Salient' or something suitably militaristic.
