Hi, Does any one have records of RAF pilots who flew BOAC Sunderlands in 1944 from UK to India. Regards, Greg Keene
Welcome to the forum for your interest re BOAC https://www.aerosociety.com/media/4...ways-corporation-1940-1950-and-its-legacy.pdf Do you have a particular RAF name in question or is it a general question re RAF pilots flying for BOAC regards Clive
Hi Clive, This was the log book page my father wrote showing two pilots names, Flt/Lt Haberlin and S/Ldr Brandt. The only Brandt I have found would not appear to be the one as he flew Hurricanes. I looked at most RAF Sunderland Squadron records without success so BOAC seems to be the answer . Thank you for your interest. Greg
Hi Clive, I think it was RAF 116 Transport Wing. Apparently M Flight was BOAC but the records for the Wing have not been digitised at the UK Achives. Unfortunately I have not been able to order the records online due to current high demand. Greg
Hello Greg There are a few members on this site who offer a copy service at resonable rates perhaps they could help you Regards Clive
It's a whole lot cheaper than TNA's rate: http://ww2talk.com/index.php?members/drew5233.6786/ http://ww2talk.com/index.php?members/psywar-org.2876/ I've used both and they both do excellent work. Regards, Dave
The only contribution that I can make to your request. Found in the Lower High Street, Poole, Dorset.
