    The more I see of the memorial the more I am impressed with it. The sculptures are magnificent, I must go to see it one day.

    They're very tactile Mike, you'll find yourself wanting to touch them, and the detail is incredible. Also, they seem to instill a certain atmosphere there. You see all sorts stopping to say hello to them.

    Nicola your are correct there was a mass cross section of people there, hence some of the shots are at angles trying to avoid heads and bodies.It was very busy.

    It was a long time coming, but certainly worth waiting for in the end. The detail in the statues is truly wonderful, and they are so lifelike. A fitting memorial to the brave souls who did so much for the cause, but for so long remained without the recognition they deserved.

    I’ve got a signature filled book from the memorial. Glad there was still a decent amount of vets active back then to finally see this completed.
