Sorry to be a parasite, but does anybody have either of these two books on their shelves? Final Records of The Buffs: 1948-67 by Gregory Blaxland. The History of the Cameronians (Scottish Rifles) IV: The Close of Empire 1948-1968 by John Baynes. I can no doubt buy copies, but the first is pricey, and for the past year the international mail has been an absolute horror show; what used to take a week or two now runs to multiple weeks or beyond (via airmail). My last delivery was routed from the UK via France and China to reach South Korea! In the first book, I'm fishing for a copy of the twelve-page first chapter. In the second, the sixteen-page first chapter. As ever, my bookshelves are at the disposal of anybody who needs anything, and I'll happily return the favour--it's mostly generals' biographies and unit histories for 4th Indian Division.
