1m long, where would one keep it afterwards?

 

It certainly looks like a nice model, but you have to place ships like that under a case to prevent the dust from accumulating.

Or perhaps when I was growing up and building all my models I lived in a very dusty house

You're absolutely right Tom, cases are essential if you want to keep all your hard work looking good. Trouble is some of the cases cost MANY times more than the models!!

Hmm..."Me109E" - did he use the wrong set of plans???

 

I would feel a right pratt riding around in that on our local duck pond. The kids would throw bricks at me.
Model making is a worthy hobby but I am sure he got his sense of scale wrong.

 

But if the guns worked, at least you could send them a reply!!!!!
