Here is my effort on Bull Models fine little model of the Morris CD Car. Very little was added except side curtains, glazing and hinges on the bonnet. It is finished in Deep Bronze Green and a natural canvas tilt treated with G4 Dark Green disruptive. It is marked up to represent a car of the 5th Medium Regiment RA in France 1940. Cheers, Neil
And in the 'proper' scale too I have to stop looking at nice models well done, I don't have the time for anything and I get drowned in nostalgia

Proper scale? 1:76 as God gave it to Airfix in Mount Sinai, to be corrupted into 1:72 by those heathens at Hasegawa in the early 80s

Looks great. What is your technique for glazing? Paint model first then add glazing? How is glazing cut and fixed?
Hi....sorry I missed your post earlier. I usually cut the glazing to size during the building process and set it aside to be added after painting. This usually results in having to sand the edges down after painting, varnishing, etc. due to the openings shrinking somewhat. I'm now trying cutting and glazing after painting. I used future floor wax to secure the glazing in place. If a window is partially open I used CA glue. Hope this helps. Cheers, Neil
Thanks, Doug.....I use Testors Modelmaster #1702 Field Drab suitably lightened with white. It is a very close match for G3 Khaki Grn if darkened a little with black. I often use it as is however, for scale effect. I don't know if it's available in the UK but it is here in Canada and the US. Cheers, Neil
