A good find - better than anything I've seen. It was a brave (pun intended) move putting an article on Indians in the 1st US Cavalry Association magazine, though.
A Madrassi of the Signals, Now was that The Royal Indian Signals, the Royal Signals or just Indian Signals, what was their proper title ?

This is Brig JC Saunders-Jacobs CBE DSO, commander 5th Ind Bde from April '44 to Feb '46. I assume this is cap badge of Royal Garwahli Rifles ?
I can't work this one out at all. Chap is being presented to King George VI in Arezzo , Italy in July 1944.
