Does anyone have info as to the last operational use of original spec. Bren and Scout carriers? Secondly, were remaining examples rebuilt as Universal carriers ? Thirdly (and lastly) do any original shape Bren or Scout carriers still exist and, if so, where ?
Well, I have no specific info on Bren Carriers, but there has recently (like within the last couple of years) been a blog on vehicle forums by a guy who imported what he says is the last Scout Carrier and has restored it. Probably HMVF but might be MLU. Chris
a friend owns a fully restored scout carrier and another mate owns a very early MG that predates the scout. ben hawkins has the scout, he did a blog on hmvf and mlu. sean mitchell has the MG carrier but hasn't started the resto as yet
