The company I work for shares offices with Impossible who have made this, just received this TX card for it. Should be interesting but shame it's a Yank helmet as most of the Vets in it are Brits as far as I know.

    Paul-
This is the sort of sloppy research that I abhor and it does nothing for my confidence that this series will be worth looking at- if it is shown all the way over here - which I doubt- but I have little doubts that it will consist of the NWE campaign only

    Cheers

I notice the first episode is preceded by a repeat of the Time Team Special "The Somme's Secret Weapon". If you haven't seen it: do.

Tom, I didn't work on this series, although I was asked. But as far as I know, it is only NWE. It was partly filmed in Canada and is a co-production I think, so should be on in North America as well.

I know a few veterans who were interviewed, all of them NWE men.

    Hi all,
Just noticed a trailer for this on the box, fairly certain I spotted, Tony Hibbert, and Jonny Peters, much to look forward too for students of the Battle of Arnhem. ;)

Also just watched it, missed the first ten minutes, doubt that was Arnhem, so I am embarassed to have to admit to leading people astray on here, as I mentioned in a previous post, I had seen it advertised on the TV, and clips were shown of Tony Hibbert and Jonny peters, does this continue as a series, or am I of my trolley, or are they in another program coming soon.
I did think the program tonight was very good.

    regards, lost it lofty

Mike are you Anglia region TV have you seen the advert I saw.

Hi Lofty, I am in London region, not Anglia and I think I have seen the ad you are referring to, can't remember much detail though.
Tonight's programme is one of a series but I don't know how many parts (ofter 6?)

That was quite a show ....... when you see those beaches today even with the German concrete and remains of defences overlooking them it is hard to comprehend exactly what took place much less the marks it left on those who waded ashore.
