I want to know more about the 166th. I would love to know more. According to his obituary he fought in north Africa and italy Chesley was related to my great grandmother 166th newfoundland bombardier
Some time ago a (1995) member of the regiment wrote a memoir of his wartime experience: Perhaps they left us up there by Harold Lake Maybe you can get a copy. If you search on abebooks.com it does show up.
