I would like some help if at all possible and those that have experience / knowledge of the CWGC may be able to help me out.

I am searching for the names of approx. 12 soldiers that were killed on the same day. The exact day I'm not sure of but would have been between 27th March 1944 and 15th April 1944.

Is this something that someone out there could help me with. As far as I am aware they are not listed in the war diary for the 2nd Leicesters which I have viewed at the TNA. Hence my request for help!

    Regards

Did you mean on soldiers from other regiments of 16th Infantry Brigade?

    Yes

I think that they were killed around the time that the 2nd Leicesters made their retreat from the battle around Indaw Lake. I would therefore assume that they would be connected to either 17 or 71 column. I think Wilkinson was a commanding officer at the time?

Geoff's WW2 search engine should help here, if you put in 27/03/1944 as the start date and 15/04/1944 as the end that should help you narrow down
