Every year at a weekend at the beginning of September "Les Amis des Comete" based in South West France organise a commemorative walk over the Pyrenees following one of the routes of the wartime Belgian escape line. This year the walk is being held on the 7th 8th and 9th of September and will follow the Anglet/Sutar route to Dancharia on the Franco/Spanish border. Anyone with family connections to Comete or just with an interest in the escape line would be welcome to walk the route.
