    The great posed photos!
    Some of the "infantry" have cartridge carriers.
    There are lots of these photos, usually featuring the same people and damaged tank.
    Some are developed back to front to keep the flow from left to right. As seen in "Desert Victory"

    Agreed, both my Grandfathers served in North Africa and having photos of them in my childhood really formed an impression on me. Just something about the complete look of the Desert Tommy, brilliant.
