Found this: The B-17 is shown at 4:20. The way the announcer is talking it seems it might have been a planned flyover. Not clear though. Nice tribute to pro ball players serving before that too
Saw this one on Facebook feed early this morning. When I went to get it this afternoon it had been scrubbed.
Here is a photo of the guy Audie Murphy took on in the carjack attempt. He stands 6'2 and 190 compared to Murphy's 5'7 130. When looking at the photo notice the carjackers muddy clothing and Murphy's relatively clean suit except for a small water mark on his coat sleeve. The only sign of Murphy's fight is his muddy shoes, whereas the carjacker also has a busted up mug. He was ID'd as John Thomas Daniels, a local thug. Lastly, he had a .45 which Murphy took away from him, and then kicked his butt.
When the assistant prop guy who doesn't know anything about guns is told to get a pistol for a Bond girl.
Christmas in Nola (New Orleans, Louisiana). Tourists call it Nawlins. Some call it "The Big Easy". Regardless of what it's called, it's my favorite city.
