    I have a particular interest in this wonderful series because Clive Dunn OBE was actually in my old regiment the IVth Queen's Own Hussars when he was taken prisoner in Greece.
    (and not-a-lotta-people-know-that)

    I saw an interview where he was asked about his wartime experience and he is not one of those who looked back fondly on the years. I suspect many feel the same way but feel duty-bound to parrot the 'our finest hour'/'we all pulled together'/best years of my life' version.
