McNally from Ballantrae & Thomson from Glasgow.
Both must have served in Burma.
I would like their families to have these pictures.

Anyone know the Piper? I don't have a name for him. I would also like his family to have this picture. IMG_20210706_091849~2.jpg IMG_20210706_091849~3.jpg IMG_20210706_091831_1~2.jpg

I've searched the surnames on the Burma Star membership index, but nothing has come up that fits the info available.

I don't know who they are. I can only go by what it says on the back of the pictures.
Granda(Donnie MacKenzie 1st Cameronians 26,Column) had these in a frame so I am guessing they were military friends. Posted here, hoping to find out more.

With Thomson being such a common name it would be difficult to be sure, but sadly, there were two men from the 1st Cameronians with this surname who died in 1944:

    Rifleman 2527290 John Thomson and
    Rifleman 2527294 William Thomson

Well done for posting but will be very difficult to find unless any newspaper articles come to light
