Thanks a bunch - they are very interesting and I really enjoyed looking at them. Grew up with Dr. S, his stories were always rather cool and absurd, just the thing for the imagination of an inquisitive child!
Very interesting! I grew up on Dr. Seuss's kiddie book and raised my own daughters on them (looks as though the first grand kid will continue the family tradition as well). Never knew he also did political cartoons. Thanks for posting!

PM (newspaper) - Wikipedia Theodor Geisel, better known as Dr. Seuss, published more than 400 cartoons on PM's editorial page. Crockett Johnson's comic strip Barnaby debuted in the paper in 1942. Other artists who worked at PM included Ad Reinhardt, one of the founders of Abstract Expressionism, and Joseph Leboit; both contributed margin cartoons and drawings. Noted artist Jack Coggins contributed wartime artwork for at least nine issues between 1940 and 1942.
