I am wondering how the Recce men that were killed on Johannahoeveweg got buried at 9 Duitskampweg. Wasn't Kraft's men still holding the area around the tunnel?

    Thanks,

    Jason.

Not sure if this is of much use but I have a "close up" pic of the gate of No.9 and a "now" shot of a famous (posed) pic of members of 1st Recce Squadron which was taken outside the house on Monday 18th Sept 1944 (courtesy of TomTAS ;)).

    All the best............:)
Hi, Nice to see this photo again, I didn't know it was posed. Trp Fred Brawn was my Great Uncle, very proud of him but very sad that he was soon to lose his life along with many of his comrades.

    Hi
You mention a video of Remember Arnhem, do you know if it is available to buy please, we have only recently discovered the book Remember Arnhem and managed to get copies of it, which has answered so many questions as my Grandad is mentioned in it, and although we knew things we are learning so much more that we didn't know and appears we actually knew less than we thought sadly. To watch this video will be a great as he was young when he sadly passed away (like so many :( ) and reading this book has been fantastic to watch the video would be the icing on the cake, from a very personal point of view :). Would be grateful of any help you can give.

And I apologise for the waffle (typical women) but I came across this by chance and have got a little excited to say the least.

    Thank You
    Tracy
