I only have a German and partial Italian translation. Does anyone have the full text of the Communiqué or know where it can be found?

This is the famous announcement on the BBC that removed any doubts about the nature of CRUSADER from the mind of Rommel.

    All the best

Closest I can get in "Trove":

Desert Tank Battle Awaited - BRITISH FORCES WELL PLACED Brilliant Strategy, Says Churchill

The Advertiser (Adelaide, SA : 1931 - 1954) Fri 21 Nov 1941 Page 9 Desert Tank Battle Awaited

"The BBC, referring to the fact
that the Italian forces were at-
    tacked yesterday—the offensive
    began on Tuesday—says it con-
firms the belief that the Italians
were not manning the front line"

However, earlier in November, the BBC wished the King of Italy a Happy birthday !

    B.B.C. GREETINGS TO KING OF ITALY DEPLORED - News (Adelaide, SA : 1923 - 1954) - 13 Nov 1941

    Later Edit:

" It would be foolish to say that there
is not a certain uneasiness in the
public mind about the Battle for
Cyrenaica, and most of that un-
easiness, we believe, is due to the
manner in which the offensive was
ushered in by the B.B.C., or at
    least those persons responsible
    for the flourishings of trumpets."

    IMPORTANCE OF LIBYA - Goulburn Evening Post (NSW : 1940 - 1954) - 28 Nov 1941

    Cannot find more.

Singapore Newspapers website has nothing much.

    https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/newspapers/

See saved citations attached. Very useful, save citations then "print" = save as pdf.

    Answering back to the BBC:

" .. you need your own transmitting station and all sorts of gadgets in order to do it. Russia has done it very successfully, breaking in constantly on the German Radio. Now Germany is trying it— but not so successfully— in the case of B.B.C. programmes." See this link:

    https://eresources.nlb.gov.sg/newspapers/digitised/article/morningtribune19411120-1.2.48

A new web resource to me is here, but no answer to the question: "MOI Digital - A History of the Ministry of Information."

    Weekly Report, 24 November 1941

    { The "flourishings of trumpets" were rather muted re the impending disaster in Singapore - by the by.}
