Dear Friends, Just to let you all know due to my COPD, I can no longer participate in the forum, I have enjoyed my time with you all and the many wonderful interactions I have shared with you. I wish you all well for the future. Kind regards For Bernard85, His Grandson Sam
Sam That is a pity as I too have been suffering from COPD for the past five years and it just keeps me from being as mobile as I want to be - but if he is on Oxygen at this time - I can well understand his feelings and enough to say that he will be missed, please ensure that he has my best respects Cheers Tom Canning
Sam Please pass on my best wishes to your grandfather who has always been a very welcome contributor to the forum with his un-mistakable style of writing. With my very best regards Ron
Thanks Sam, I enjoyed Bernard85's input. He certainly made every effort to participate on the forum during his 2-3 years as a member. Wish him well from me. Steve
Morning, Very sad news. In a strange way I used to enjoy seeing Bernard's list of replies every morning. As above, he will be missed, Regards, Graeme
Grandson Sam, Please pass on to your grandfather Bernard my thanks for expressing his view of the world from down under, which often added cheer to the day. His posts remind me of the poet E.E. Cummings, so I'll add a bit from one of his poems called : " i carry your heart with me ( i carry it in ) ", with best wishes from John papiermache. here is the deepest secret nobody knows (here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud and the sky of the sky of a tree called life;which grows higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide) and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
Cheers Sam for posting that message on behalf of Bernard. Please pass on my best regards to him. As mentioned by other members Bernard certainly had a distinctive style of posting.
What a shame! We will certainly miss you, Bernard - hope you aren't too poorly to read. Thanks for lettng us know, Sam.
That is a real shame Bernard - The Aussie posters are now one down. As others have said, you will be missed on the forum. Cheers Geoff/Spidge Melbourne.
Sam. Sorry to hear of Bernard's plight and his withdrawal from "active service". His contributions were always welcome on the forum.Like a number of other contributors he spoke from his experiences. Please convey to him, my best wishes for the future.
The forum will miss one of its true gentlemen. Thank you for all your posts & all that you shared - thoughts, experiences, opinions, wisdom. God bless you & your family.
