Dunno what to say really, other than stay as well as you can, Bernard. Thanks, Sam, for telling us what's what. ~A
Warlord C.O.P.D. is a lung disease whereby the air sacs in the emphasima region are destroyed - this is coupled with chronic Bronchitis which tends to keep the breathed air away from the air sacs and the heart does double duty in doing it's best - to no avail and finally gives up and thus the real cause of death is C.O.P.D the only relief I have is with Simbicort - so all you smokers are constantly warned - quit NOW….. Cheers
Bernard, I have enjoyed your comments and discussion. Best regards and I do hope to see you drop in from time to time, as you might be able.
What a sad week this has been. I too enjoyed your posts which always reminded me of telegrams and often made me smile. My thoughts are with you and your family for the journey ahead. I hope you are somewhat cheered by the esteem in which you are held. Take care Bernard

Dear Forum members I am writing to let you know that Benard85 has recently passed away. Although he was not well with COPD it still came as a shock when he passed unexpectedly at home on 19 June at 88 years of age - he had a full and wonderful life with a wife of 66 years and three daughters and eight grandchildren. We want you all to know how much pleasure it gave our granddad to be part of the forum discussions. He would go to his "office", charge up the laptop and be busy all day - it became his passion - he had more friends online than in real life! He was also overcome when he received so many well wishes from you all when he announced he was not well several months ago. So thank you so much for making grandads last few years interesting and happy. Best of health and happiness to you all. From his Grandson Zac and the rest of the family. He is greatly missed.
