So sorry to hear - my grandfather passed away from this also, many years ago. R.I.P. Bernard - you will be missed. My condolences to his family and friends.

Zac, It was nice to learn that Bernard enjoyed his time on the Forum and as said by many, he will be missed. RIP. Bernard. Tom
Hi Zac, I’m wondering if your grandad knew my uncle, Trooper Gordon William Gray, Derbyshire Yeomanry d.7 August 1946, Tripoli but peacetime? Did he visit Tripoli Commonwealth Cemetery in 2014? My family is looking for answers about Gordon’s non enemy fire, non accidental death. In any case he took the trouble to remember him, on his death day and for that, I am very thankful. May Bernard rest in peace. Best wishes, Abi
Hi, I doubt you will get a reply from Zac. He was using his grandfather’s membership when he posted on the forum and that sign on has not been used since shortly after Bernard passed away in July 2015. Steve
14533953 Trooper G. W. GRAY, 1st Derbyshire Yeomanry, RAC: 07/08/1946 With reference to above, I believe Bernard was simply paying his respects on a casualty thread. He'd do that quite often. He'd really have said otherwise. Bernard's service wasn't with the army, he'd lived in London and then emigrated to Australia.
