  1. I have been updating a website and have all the archive material that forms the site. Naturally there are lots of old material and some of which has no links or reference to the site itself but I have uncovered a series of 8 videos taken from old Cine Film shot around 1970 featuring an amazing array of ex-military vehicles - probably the biggest private collection ever amassed.

Many vehicles were saved from the crusher and have since gone on to feature in numerous war films and now reside in museums all across the globe.

There are 8 videos in all and show hundreds of vehicles. Each video shall be uploaded to Youtube and it would be great for enthusiasts to indicate any makes/models with a correct timeline to form an excellent archive of machinery.

Unfortunately Youtube have cancelled out the original music due to copyright issues.

The first 3 have now been uploaded and if there is sufficient interest I'll add the others - which DO get even better with more and more vehicles - with a link to each one.

    Enjoy!

    Fascinating stuff indeed.
Obviously, I'm still ploughing through the hour you've put up, but it's time well spent - that is quite some heap of stuff.
Doubtless many current owners will be picking through to see if they can see their machines (One recently ex K2 owner on here might well be staring somewhat...).

Thanks for posting, and as for " if there is sufficient interest" - There certainly is here.

TJ/Tracked Jeep?! in Part III at 6:31 (and possibly previously) - Blimey.
Beaverette, Schwimmer, etc. etc. etc. Just goes on & on.
I'm going to have to stop skipping, and watch it all more carefully...
