Fifth Columnists shot by British Army 1940

Discussion in 'General' started by Keith Alexander, Oct 26, 2021.

  1. Years ago I read a thread on this or another forum which documented a number of summary executions of French or Belgian civilians by British Army soldiers in 1940. Two instances submitted by "Sheldrake" indicate two such executions committed by the Northamptonshire regiment and one by one of the Guards regiments. I believe there were others.

Can anyone identify the thread? Or otherwise contribute to this topic? I do not believe these incidents were widespread but I seem to remember there were several.

    regards

  3. While your sarcasm is noted your help is appreciated. I did use the search function but the number of hits was so large that I gave up after scanning several pages. I therefore thought why not ask if anyone knows of the thread? Luckily for me you did :) I assume from your name you are a cross-dressing exotic dancer?
