Hello, I am looking for pictures or information about my great-uncle Florian Sénior Veilleux or any other information about the Régiment de la Chaudière. He took part in the Normandy landing and stayed in Europe until the end of the war.

I am also looking for any pictures of stretcher bearers of this regiment as I am looking for the name of one of his teammates who appears on pictures.

    Thank you for your help.

And this link will take you Library and Archives Canada and all the files they have on the Regiment. Some are on line, but many you can only see by visiting LAC Ottawa or hiring a private researcher to look thru the records

Thank you very much for this information. It helps me to reconstruct the path of my uncle. Still waiting for his military file...

    Hello
During my research, a member of the family showed me this object which would have been given to our uncle during the war by a family during his passage in Europe because he would have been helpful to them. According to some of the information I received, it is impossible for this object to come from this period or even before the war, while others tell me that this would really be the case.

I am confused. Would you have any information on this subject?
