New kit of a Humber Scout car in 1/35 by SKP has just reached the UK for £20.
    SKP Model
Combined with Bronco's forthcoming releases (Bailey bridge, Staghound, Daimler etc.) hopefully this is all signalling much greater future availability of commonwealth types amongst the endless ranks of German gear.

    Cheers,
    Adam

That Humber scout car is one of my favorite vehicles of all time. Michael Caine in 'a bridge too far'. That SKP model looks hard work to put right. With my current backlog I think I can wait for the Bronco release.

I'm starting the Mustang first just for practice, then take my good old time to do a real good job on the T34

Just about done with it. Any tips on what to do with these rubbery tracks? Never done a tank before...

    My drill is.

I assembled all the tank running gear (theres no need to worry about the sprocket postion). Glue the track together with a superglue (instant contact adhesive) I like the bostick one. Then place the glue together joint somewhere where its not in view normally on the top run somewhere. The rubber tracks look ok on the T34 as there is no return rollers to sag between.

would you recommend gluing it, then stretching it across the wheels? or running it around the wheels first, then glue?

no just glue it off the tank then press it in. Thre T34 has quite big track horns but its fairly springy.

I basically put on a very thin coat of a dark green. let that dry, and put on a sloppy coat of a very light grey, letting green show thru, then went over it all with a relatively dry white brushing.

Impressed by the speed PJ, They both look bloody good for a days work. Particularly the Mustang, much better than my last 2 attempts at aircraft which I got annoyed with and put aside.

I've got a Winter camo T34 nearly finished, getting bored with it so putting off the fiddly bits. Hopefully it won't join the wreckers yard of discarded/unfinished kits... again.

Thanks a bunch for the compliments. I worked on the Mustang over about 3 days, but spend much of my free time on them (girlfriend was busy, had nothing better to do). The T-34 was easy, pretty small, and not as complex as a plane, so I decided since I got it on sale to have a try at winter camo, I'm somewhat pleased with it, but I'm quite happy with the Mustang.

Finally finished construction of the Matilda, really struggled to get enthused about finishing it, just a waste of money if I didn't.
Too much flash on the mouldings and too many fiddly bits.
Lots of distractions caused the delay in getting it finished, will paint it later this week.
Feels like a bit of a chore and not enjoying it.
