Good to know I am not alone !

    An article in today's Times drew my attention to the fact that the longevity gap between men & women is now shrinking. In the past, it was assumed that women could expect to live longer than men and indeed statistics of 30 odd years ago showed that this ratio was about 4 to 1.

    The latest figures show this ratio is now 2 to 1.

    Writing as a 96 year old, this gives me much comfort as, in theory anyway, I will have more people to talk to !

    It did however set me thinking as to how many WW2 veterans were still members of this forum.

    Could some kind moderator oblige ?

    Don't need to be a Mod to look at member profiles & see when they were last on here.
    You're the only active one I can think of.
    The only others I can think of haven't been here for ages.
    For example DoctorD & Ken Smith (who I saw photos of from D-Day75 pics that Paul Reed posted on twitter.)
