A Lancaster Bomber gunner has been recognised by his country almost 70 years after the climax of the Second World War.
Former Warrant Officer Arthur ‘Pip’ Joyce, who lives at Cranwell Court in Grimsby, flew over 20 missions with the 514 Squadron from RAF Waterbeach, Norfolk between September 1943 and August 1945.
Now aged 91, he was honoured with a Bomber Command Clasp, surrounded by his friends and family, this afternoon.

When I saw Lesley's post about Mr Joyce I thought about your brother's family, Ron.
