    Hello,

During a recent search here on a Wellington (MP624) that had crashed I found some great reports supplied by Senior Member Dave "alieneyes" back in 2015.

I'm also interested in finding more details about the crash of a Hampden I, P1216.

I found information on the RAF Commands website and CWGC, so I know the basics: the Hampden was part of the Bombing Trials Unit and stalled during a turn and crashed on Braid Fell bombing range near Stranraer. The was during experimental low-level bombing trials. Three men killed:
    F/O Alexander Coumbis
    F/O Alan Overall
    LAC Eric Pottinger

Would there have been detailed reports like the Court of Inquiry and Police reports, that may still exist, and if so can anyone provide guidance on how to obtain them?

    Thanks,

    Eric
