    Ovens and critical baking........I remember when my lovely Nan used to bake cakes for friends and family special occasions.....nobody was allowed to pass through the kitchen for fear of hampering a rising Dundee!!

    I'm often intrigued by these 'what is normal' age inflections, Rich.
    Intangible, but the Doctor Who test is a good one.
    Mine was Tom Baker.
    Bet yours was Pertwee.

    I still do heights of large things & travel distance in imperial.
    So stupid, really.
    Not so many countries use both like we do.

    Boys (22 & 24) have zero concept of feet and inches, which is probably for the best.

    Hmm. I hated Doctor Who. I've certainly never sat through a full episode. I've disliked science fiction for as long as I can remember. I've never seen any Star Wars either.

    Europeans still use BSP. They don't understand it though and put metric hexagons on them.
