Hi everyone. My name is Lisa (Aka LadyWolf). I am a 37 year old Canadian who has lived in England and I am now living in Australia. I have been interested in WWII since I was a kid. Recently I got back on line to check info about a relative who died in WWII and I got so involved with what I found that I am now trying to get enough info to write a small memorial book for the crew that my relative was part of. I am interested in anything to do with: Lancaster B Mk II crew info for Lancasters 408 Squadron 6 Group Cheers, LadyWolf
Hi Lady Wolf ! Welcome aboard, lots of RAF support here. My own RAF interest is confined to 166 Sdrn in which my late brother Jack served. Regards Ron

Thanks Paul! I realised afterwards I had put it in the wrong place but had to get off the computer. Cheers, LadyWolf
My research shows there were also 10 Aussie lads killed while flying with 408sq. Do you have any details on the crew you are researching? Spidge, thanks for the info on the Aussies in 408sq. As for the crew... yes I have quite a bit of info. I think what I will do is post the bulk of what I have in the research section with the hope that someone knows something about them. Cheers, LadyWolf
Thanks for the info englandphil. I was wondering how they moved about over the years. I knew about the bullet point info and 6 Group but not the bit about 5 Group etc. Thanks, LadyWolf
Hello Lisa, I live in Sydney. Cheval Warr was my Dad's best friend. Long before the web, Dad a historian, spent about 10 years putting together what had happened to Chev. He tracked down the gravesite and the man, who found the plane wreck. I have visited the grave twice, and met the locals.
Hi Leona and welcome to the site. Just to say that Lisa hasn’t been on the forum since 2010, but you could try sending her a private message, she may well get it or, at least, receive an email alert about it.
