    Hi All,

I am going through a war diary and it says:

Wealdstone - vacation of V.P.53 by C company, home guard take over.

    Any Ideas?

    Cheers.

Would 'vulnerable point 53' make any sense?

Assume Wealdstone in Harrow nw London
Any more context in the war diary?

    Cheers, yes wealdstone near harrow.

    It was the 70th KRRC

Vulnerable point is interesting as I remember him talking about searchlights and air defence.

Please post a photograph of the document in which this line appears. I think you might have mistranscribed it.

ACC is often Army Catering Corps.

    Attd is attached.

    R.A. is Royal Artillery.

    I think that’s 105 battery, 78 (Duke of Lancaster's Own Yeomanry) Medium Regiment, R.A.
