Is This a "Starfish" Site??

I had a look at this building this morning.

It has only one room but there is an escape hatch and evidence of where the ladder once stood as well as a small chimney for the fire as well as some electric wiring inside.

I believe it is some form of Bogus Site however all the other ones I have visited have 2 rooms - One of which would have held a generator.

Would this have been a "Starfish" site? - It is in Creightons Wood on the hill not too far from Palace Barracks in Holywood, County Down.

I guess troops may have went here when there was an Air Raid Warning and light fires in the area to distract the Luftwaffe from perhaps Palace Barracks.

Any information would be much appreciated.

    Hello,

The Extended defence of Britain G/E overlay lists this site, or close by, as a Starfish Bombing Decoy (SF Series) (Removed).
Source is attributed to 'Fields of Deception' by Colin Dobinson.
