Italian pow's in zonderwater

    Were can i find this info . (His name ES BRAZZOLI pow no 282336)
    POW first in Zonderwater Then in Cape Town To build the Du Toitskloof pass.
    Looking for were POW.s stayed at that time when they were building the pass ?

    I went to my dads grave in Worcester's Italian war cemetary near Cape Town. I was sad to see the condition of the grave site . 03/02/2013
    SHAME ON THE ITALIAN GOVERMENT . He gave his life for Italy and now they turned there back him and the rest of his comrades.

    Hi Nino - I can understand why you were saddened to see the condition of the site. Is the entire cemetery neglected as well?

    The cemetery is not that bad ,just were the pow's are.
    This is how it looked some two years ago.

    Hi Nino I presume that you know that the remains of all the Italian POWs buried in Worcester are going to be transferred to the cemetery of Zonderwater very soon.

    Hi Nino did you try to contact ing. Coccia who is in charge of the Zonerwater block association? In Facebook there is a very good group called Zonderwater they can help you to find out more about your father.
