    Hello everyone

I have my dad's 1943 diary which is all in French until July '43 which I'd like some help to translate. He was interviewed in November 1943 by the RPS, so I know some of the details but would very much like to confirm them translating his diary entries.
His surname was Jones and he was duel French/English, born and bred in France and needing to get out of France quick, he joined the French Army for service in North Africa in early 1941. He was generally bullied and interrogated by his comrades and officers (under order from the German Armistice Commission) and pretty desperate to do whatever was necessary to join the British. That offer was made, provided he volunteer to go back into France and he was interviewed by the I.S.L.D. (MI6) in late 1943.
I'd like to post two pages of the diary at a time if I can:
January 11-14: makes mention of Pau - where his parents were at the time.
    January 18-24:
I'm hoping someone will help as my French is terrible!

    Linda
