I recently had the opportunity to visit the La Couple V2 Installation in North East France. Known as "the Dome" this was the planned location of launches of multiple V2's and was only three weeks away from operational use before RAF Tallboy Bombs put paid to Nazi plans. The base itself was constructed from slave labour in the most appalling conditions but it is nevertheless a technological marvel and is well worth a visit. There are several exhibitions and interesting things to see plus there is a 3D planetarium which acts as a kind of resolution to the space race and Werner Von Braun.
