I took these the other week and I've always wanted capture a good sunset. I was messing with my panorama settings too. These are taken looking towards Fiskerton airfield.

No filters, I experimented with different shutter speeds, I took twelve exposures of the same scene before I got one I was happy with. The settings for the image above were; F-stop = f9 Exposure = 1/2000 ISO Speed = 100 Program - Shutter priority

A Lavender Farm half mile from where I live. People come from miles around to photograph and paint it near harvesting time. If you could add the incredible smell as well, it would be complete. And to add a WW2 flavour to it, in a field the other side of the trees, a Dornier DO17 was shot down and crashed there on 15 September 1940 at Castle Farm, Eynsford, Kent. Almost a then and now.

GAGE; For what's it worth a professional photographer I knew used to take pictures through sunglasses and got some tremendous effects. My wife said " Just 'pop' up there and take a picture of us!!!!! A gallon of sweat later............ Morocco last year. Very, very hot!!
Usually every other morning, shortly after 07:00 hrs, I stretch my legs for a hour in local Trent Park, just 15 mtes away from my home. At this time of the year (when it's not raining) the early morning sunlight just fills the avenue with a brilliant light and if you want to take a snap you have to make sure that the sun is blocked by a nearby tree.
