I am always looking for unusual groupings to add to my collection. I had the opportunity to add the below Lappland grouping so I took the chance. It came from a private collection out of Germany that I trust and always was fascinated with the history of the award and how it was created. I have it being framed and protected but took some pictures Comments and questions are always welcomed

Nice little set to a signaller in a radio unit belonging to 20.Gebirgs-Armee. It isn't often you see the citation still with the Wehrpass (or Soldbuch) which is sometimes surprising as everyone who was awarded the Lapplandschild had survived the war so had access to them all. I assume that the colour of the citation is due to your scan settings rather than how it actually looks?

Yes, unfortunately my scanner is my weakest part of my collection. I keep telling myself that I am going to purchase a new one but just cant settle on the right one. Good eye

I have an Epson WF-2630 3-in1 and its fairly cheap and perfectly ok for the job of scanning citations, Wehrpasse etc.
