Not sure if anyone has seen Lloyds of Kew Bookshop when they make their way to and from Kew archives. May not see it if you are making your way from the tube. Friendly place with lots of great books. If you have the time do take a look, it's only a minute away. http://www.lloydsofkewbooks.co.uk
I drive passed it on the way to the National Archives when I go and have often wondered what it's like inside. Do they have a large 1940 section?
Interesting - I ran a cursory check and believed it to be a new bookshop. It would help if their opening hours complemented TNA, say 0700-2100, closed for lunch 0900-1700.
Buying books at Kew - if you are a member of the Friends of the TNA there are good discounts on items purchased from the TNA Bookshop up to 20%
