    Sad to hear of the passing yesterday of Lt. Jack Reynolds MC who fought at Arnhem with the mortar platoon of 2/South Staffs. Jack was in part responsible for one of the most iconic photos from the battle after he was taken Prisoner of War.

    "Down the road I saw a German chap with a camera and a huge grin on his face and I thought 'what a bastard' and gave him the V sign"

    Sad to hear the news that Jack Reynolds has passed away.

    I spoke to him a few years ago and what a real character he was, a truly great man
