Yesterday when I visited Henny and Tine, at their studio at Oosterbeek, we talked about the ideas of a number of sequel of the Battle of Arnhem September 1944 graphic novels.

For example I told them that there should be at least a part 4 which would handle the evacuation of Arnhem and Oosterbeek, the liberation, Bombing of the Arnhem Road Bridge, the return of the people, and of course the first anniversary of the Battle on the then recently made Arnhem/Oosterbeek cemetery.

After that I think there would be enough interest of one about "The Island" and also other aspects of Market Garden, Hells highway, Nijmegen, The landings/fighting of the 82/101, Joe's Bridge.

All these would be based, of course like the Arnhem books on historical facts.

"our" question to the forum members is, do you think that would be a good idea?, would there be enough interest in a sequel of these series.

I think it there is as although there are many written books and accounts and movies, there are no cartoons about this subjects, and to get also another kind of public interested in these subjects, it would give it more attention, to those who would have heard about Market Garden, but are more cartoon minded, then reading the books that would go in to the little details.

It would also be a change I think, to give more details about less know subjects of the operation, as a cartoon something can tell more then a story in a book.

My question to you is, would you like to contact Tinie and Henny at their site, with any remarks, comments, etc, etc, about the above idea, so they would get an idea how it life's(or not):) among our WOII interested on this forum, not only that Arnhem/Market Garden minded, but also whatf others would think of it.

    Thanks in advance.

As a big graphic novel fan i'd really love to see them, and seeing this covers the most extra ordinary and controversial moment in the history of WW2 what could be better?
