Does anyone have any info on these units? Looking in particular for information on their involvement in the battles in Crete.

This is way outside my area of knowledge so any information or guidance would be most appreciated.

    thanks

According to Charles Messneger's history of the Commandos, part of No 50 commando joined "Layforce" which was supposed to be landed to recapture Malame airfield but ended up as the rearguard at Sphakia - as per the Men at Arms pbook 2
