One of the best/worst things about modelling is doingt he research and finding some good pics. Many walkarounds are from the the other side of them musumn corden, many preserved examples are wrongly painted or plain missing a lot of detail. Would it be possible for them ods to do a sticky for modelling research pics info??? Heres a really good site that contains lot of nice walkarounds, especailly anti tank guns, I was after the PAK35/36 SVSM Gallery Also Prime portal is fantastic for lots of hi res pics. Welcome to Prime Portal Kev
when i went to the Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire I had to buy the special edition Revell 1/32 Lysander (with the decals for the one in the collection) for £15 in the gift shop lots of research done in the museum AFTER the gift shop visit

Great stuff guys, could I ask that people posting state what it is that has been photographed, if they know that is!
The restoration blogs on the HMVF forums are invaluable and will show you things that a simple walkaround will never show!
Great stuff guys, could I ask that people posting state what it is that has been photographed, if they know that is! Bob's pictures in #3 are of a French 155 mm SPG that was at Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland for many years. I think it has been moved to Fort Lee, Virgina now and is in storage limbo like the rest of the collection, unfortunately. Maybe it is at least undercover now. Dave

Love the Stalinetz. Thinking about it, don't think I've actually seen one preserved in the flesh. And in the spirit of participation, some dodgy detail shots of the Airborne Six Pounder at Fort Nelson, which I took for a mate a fair while back:
