More films on Varsity digitized by IWM

    For all Varsity experts - I would like to inform you that the IWM must recently have digitized more footage on that operation. A number of those images were new to me - especially soldiers of 12th Devons in a Horsa during the flight to the Rhine, then landing and advancing. I put these on our new website:

    1945 - The Rhine Crossings in the Wesel Area - Films

    I suggest that you use the red links at the bottom of each IWM icon.

    If so I believe that is a Dakota (C-47) about to crash over DZ 'A'. Nice to have it confirmed though that Sgt. Lawrie (AFPU) was responsible for footage.
