My Great Aunt once told me a story when Holland was occupied by the Nazis. I don't know if you will find it interesting, but I did. Anyway, it goes she was walking down the street when she noticed in an ally that 2 German Soldiers were beating up a man. He was walking his young daughter to school (obviously he would during this time). She yelled at them to stop and that they had to right to do that, etc etc... and they chased her. She had to run in a dumpster to hide from them. She tells me it was the scariest moment of her life. She did not mention if the man in question was a Jew or not, which he might have been, otherwise why would they be beating on him?

And another one I just thought of from an elderly woman is that when she was in a concentration camp she saw how the Nazis would make the Jews dig a HUGE pit, and once they were over their heads a bulldozer would push all the dirt back in over top of them. She told me when they were completely smothered that she saw the earth moving from them struggling to dig out. To this day she will not forgive ANY Germans for what she went through and saw.

    Feel free to discuss.
