For those who are not aware, the UK book publisher Wing Leader are publishing a series of books that cover the RAF Bomber Command and German night fighter actions of WW-2.
Eleven years ago Theo Boiten produced two volumes called Nachtjagd War Diaries and on a raid by raid basis attempted to link up the German night fighter claims with specific aircraft lost by the RAF. Now he has expanded his work but instead of just 2 volumes it is now being published in an ongoing multi-volume series (volume 5 has just been released). If anyone has bought the Luftwaffe Crash Archive or Battle of Britain Combat Archive from the same publishers it is similar in format to those publications.
But where this new series differs from the books 11 years ago is that now the claims of German flak units have also been incorporated with their claims being linked to specific aircraft where possible. So far 1943 has been covered as has the period September 1939 to 29th May 1942.
To garner as much interest as possible from the outset they first published the volumes for 1943 and then the ones for 1939-May 1942 rather than starting at 1939 and publishing them in year order but unlike the Luftwaffe Crash Archives the page numbers do not run consecutively from volume to volume so you can still stack these on your shelf in year order without any problems. Each volume consists of approximately 130 pages and future volumes will cover the remaining years on the Western Front as well as the Russian & Mediterranean Fronts.

If you have an interest in the raids of RAF Bomber Command and the night fighter war then these are worth buying. Topic stats from the publishers:

6,000 German night fighter claims - 95% linked to their RAF victims.
2,100 Flak claims - revealed for the first time - 95% linked to their RAF victims.
95% of all Bomber Command crash locations accurately identified.
Night-by- Night account, in minute detail, of each raid and the night fighter’s reaction.
