A couple of shots of his house after the fall of Berlin. 'Life Pictures' Home of Heinrich Himmler, captured following the fall of the city to Allied troops. 1945
I'm amazed at the condition it's in, especially considering the lovely "lawn ornament" parked up front.
Himmler did lead a fugal life.Believe or not, amidst the carnage that the SS presided over, probity was one of the prereguisites for SS membership. He only drew a meagre salary from the Third Reich and often had to approach the likes of Bormann for a loan. With these personality traits, little wonder that he found it difficult to keep his two families going, one with his wife who bore him a daughter and two children with his mistress who was his secretary.Power is an aphrodisiac and Himmler took advantage of his position and was known to have fathered several illegitimate children outside these two relationships.
Is this the house mentioned here? There was the comfortable Berlin garden house, snatched from trade unionists banned by Hitler. Katrin's choice: how do I tell my son about great-uncle Heinrich. . .? - Times Online
Bormann & Goering's Salzburg Houses, from the always excellent 'Third Reich in Ruins': Bormann/Goering Houses Nice page on Carinhall here, (sadly no overall external shot of the place... but one of Goering in Toxopholist mode!). Visiting Hermann Goering's CARINHALL Mentions there that he had a residence on Leipziger Platz in Berlin (among several others) - not found a shot of that yet though.

Destroyed military vehicle amid rubble piled outside bullet scarred walls of the home of German Minister of Propaganda Joseph Goebbels, following the fall of the city to allied troops.
Be interesting to see the whole article these are for - presumably a strong illustration of how the formerly mighty had fallen.
So far these are the only ones I have found of homes. However I have found some interesting ones of Hitler's Bunker (Inside and out) and other government buildings including the American Embassy and receation spots like the Opera house and sports facilities. Andy
