I am quite curious about what my great grandfather did during the war, I dont really know exactly what he did since he never spoke about it. Are there any websites I can use to look through the Romanian army records of the time?

This book might help, id'd via a tweet from this site, so you may have noticed it? https://twitter.com/GHarward/status/1396879640501837826/photo/1

'Romania's Holy War: Soldiers, Motivation and the Holocaust' by Dr. Grant T. Harward (USA), due out in November 2021. It may be worth looking at his Twitter feed as on a quick glance.

The Romanian / Rumanian military do appear in some books on the Eastern Front, such as Anthony Beevor's book on Stalingrad and in a tome by Martin Gilbert on the holocaust for their part at Odessa (so bad I had to stop reading the book).
